Potty training….
Hi everyone, my little boy still isn’t potty trained and also is refusing to sit on the potty..
Back in September we tried putting him in pants and no nappy. He was doing ok but after 3 weeks he was still wetting himself 90% of the time..
I don’t know what to do, he’s just outright refusing. I don’t know whether to try putting pants on him again since it’s been a couple of months since we last tried this.
Please has anyone had a similar experience and do you have any tips? 🙈

You need to try again and stick with it - no giving up. My LO pooped his pants yesterday after 7 weeks so it’s a rollercoaster. You can’t give up - make sure you have the support of nursery etc. I would leave till new year - assuming your house is busy over Xmas with too many distractions. You need to make it fun - stickers, reward charts, potty books, potty toys. His own funky toilet roll. Get a fun potty - we bought one that looks like a mini toilet which was a game changer!!!! He loved sitting on it when we went too :)

I’d say skip pants and just keep him naked from the waist down. It took my little guy a good couple of days of being naked to get it, I think wearing pants mimics the sensation of a nappy and confuses them. Whatever you do, when you start, keep consistent and don’t go back to nappies! You got this!
