Not at first but I had irregular contractions as the day went on. When I got the test done I was told I was 2cm which was mid afternoon. 6hrs later I was still 2cm and contractions were still all over the place. I was offered another sweep as I really wanted a water birth again and the 24 hour mark where they need to intervene was approaching. She was born 2 hours later and got my water birth. I have no experience of a section so can’t help there but after the 24 hours they had said they were going to use the balloon catheter to induce me x
You might feel little gushes of water coming out of you as well. My waters went while I was getting ready to leave for my scheduled section 😅 I noticed a small wet spot on the bed and that my pants were a bit more wet than usual. I also started to have contractions but when my waters went with my first I had no contractions!
I’d ring them, happened to me last week. I wasn’t sure either but they did a test and said my hind waters were leaking. Luckily she was born within 24 hours so I didn’t need any intervention x
