Your milk won't come in until a few days after birth. You'll produce colostrum in pregnancy which sustains baby until milk arrives. Your milk production is triggered by the placenta coming away from the uterine wall. Colostrum is what they call 'liquid gold'. It's thick, yellowy substance that's very high in calories and goodness. My milk didn't come in until day 5. However, not everyone leaks colostrum, I never did. From around 36 weeks if you'd like to you can hand express colostrum and save extra in little syringes for baby. Whether you leak colostrum or can hand express etc has no indication on breast feeding. It is EXTREMELY rare for a woman to not be physically capable of producing milk or producing enough. The more likely scenario is usually difficulty or not realising how much you need to eat and drink to maintain a good supply.
