Thanks Sukh! Can I ask what is the treatment you were given for it and how much did it cost for the testing? Do you know it can't be tested here and needs to be sent to Chicago? I read from reviews that ARGC didn't have really good ratings but people with failed transfer elsewhere all had good things to say that it delivers results.
Hey I’ve had investigations with CRP, and also did 6 rounds of superovulation with them on an immune protocol based on my results. They are v. Expensive!! It came to about £2500 for the 16 vials of blood taken. You can use places like Fertylisis nowadays to do the same sort of testing for a whole load cheaper.
I paid £1150 for the full immunology screening, they took approx 15 vials of blood. From my knowledge immunology testing isn’t that big in the UK and not many places have it as part of their protocol, so they don’t have the resources for the testing part, so ARGC send it to a trusted centre in Chicago. From my experience at ARGC the care and approach is unmatchable - the success rate for pregnancy and live births is also one of the highest in the UK at 76%. The nurses and doctors have all been amazing, they are on the more expensive end for a fertility clinic but they are very hands on and proactive.
Hi, ARGC do immunology bloods and send it off to Chicago for testing. You get the results back within 4/6weeks, or sooner. ARGC requires this testing to start IVF treatment even though most other places do not. My experience with them has been amazing and the test was very useful as it showed elevated levels of cytokines and killer cells which can impact implantation and cause miscarriages, I am now able to get this treated alongside my IVF protocol. It is very expensive but in my opinion worth it as it may be the difference between a successful or unsuccessful IVF round. Hope this helps!
