Difficulty getting pregnant
Hi everyone!
I have a 1 year old, and have been trying to get pregnant for around 6 months now. I always wanted 2 kids close in age so no judgement please, I appreciate it’s not for everybody 🤣
But it just seems to not be happening for me although the saying is you are your most fertile after having a baby?
Just wondering is anybody else in the same position or is it worth getting checked?

I know everywhere is different on how they do things but I think more often than not it takes years for the doctors to do any checks x
@Samantha hey! I’d be willing to go private but just wondering is this common before spending the money to get checked, if you don’t mind me asking did you find any problems or was it just one of those things? X
I think it’s more common than we think, the more I’ve spoken to other mums the more I’ve realised it’s just not as easy as we think! We found there were issues with my partner but having said that, they said those problems won’t mean we can’t ever have babies it just meant it would take us longer. I don’t mind going into more detail if you wanted to pop me a message 🥰 x

6 months won’t be enough for doctors to check you (as far as I’m aware) we struggled for a year and it was only that my partner pushed his doctors to get him checked but they wouldn’t check me as I’d already had a baby previous to us trying x
