Many women suffer from postpartum depression; as long as you are not having thoughts of harming yourself or children, I do not see a reason social services would be informed. It's important to seek help for yourself, your health matters too plus caring for yourself helps you care for your babies. I'm sorry you're going through this ❤️
Oh babe how is your little one doing at the moment ? Sounds like you have a lot on your plate! I was really worried about falling into depression or psychosis because I’d had ALOT of episodes in my past. Since becoming a mum I have prioritised my own health and happiness and don’t get me wrong some days are a real struggle. Do what you can to make sure your showering and dressing and feeling fresh every day. Make sure majority of your meals have protein in them!! Get into the habit of some sort of movement, stretches/walking daily. Or you can talk to your doctor who will send you off to therapy and prescribe you an antidepressant.. does this even help anyone ever. ? Honestly? Mindset podcasts are great !! Even if you can focus on it just having it on in the background can be motivating.
They might, yes, but it's better they can keep an eye on you for helping you get better and keep your children. I don't believe it's their goal to separate you from your kids. They will help you with coping mechanisms and perhaps figure out the cause.
