@Amy that is my exact due date and when I’m expecting to have my baby bc of a scheduled induction with my current pregnancy!
Incognito hang in there I also had a really rough first trimester and my due date changed and set me back a week also. It will get much easier in your second trimester when you’re feeling like a human again
My due date based on my last period was the 14th October and my updated due date after my dating scan was the 5th October which would’ve made no sense with my periods, I gave birth on the 17th October so at least for me going based on my period seemed to be way more accurate x
I was told as long as the due date according to your last period isn’t more than 4 weeks off from the scan it doesn’t really matter due dates are really just estimates and it’s very common for babies to come before or even after that given date I hope you feel better after r the first trimester ends cause the emotional roller coasters are real
Due date should be based on ovulation and your last cycle before pregnancy. Baby may be slightly small or slightly large and you can only get so accurate on ultrasound measurements, so that’s why it seems to change sometimes. Your due date is also a really big guess in some sense. Very few women actually have their baby on the due date. Baby will be full term at 37 weeks, and if all goes well, you could give birth anytime after that, and baby is fine. At my first appt my dr said baby was a few days bigger but he kept my due date based on my cycle (June 21h I just had another ultrasound this morning and while I’m 13w3d, baby is measuring 14w1d, which would be a due date of June 15. My son now was due September 5 but I was induced and he was born August 25. Honestly if you stress over your due date, you’ll drive yourself crazy!!
It's all a scientific guess. But last menstrual is typically the best guess
My son was due on Jan 13. He came on December 25(3W+1 early). Due dates aren't that important. They're going to come when they wanna come anyway. Just focus on a healthy baby. That's all that matters. I know it's not what you asked, but that's all that is important, a happy, healthy baby.
