My sons 12 but has a attitude of a 18 year old he has threatened to kill himself multiple times and even put hands on me for the first time last night I’m 8 weeks pregnant he doesn’t know I’m putting him in counseling I just need to know if I’m the only mom having to deal with a kid that’s all over the place I’ve also told him that I’d be heart broken if anything happened to him as he’s the one who made me a mom me and his dad are divorced and have been since June 2023 but separated in February 2019 so I don’t know what is happening

My 12 year old just started counseling this week after voicing to a friend that she didn't want to live anymore. She is also very hormonal having already started her periods so that adds to the struggles. Her bio dad created a lot of trauma for her and I should have started her in counseling a long time ago. You are not alone in dealing with an emotionally difficult kid. If you ever want to talk to someone that gets it, I'm here for you.
Thanks it’s been hard I’m going to call and get him set up with a counselor and talk to his counselor at school

My 18 year old struggled real bad. Especially after we left his donor who was extremely abusive. We put him in counseling and he’s been to a psychiatric hospital a time or two! He needed it majorly! Don’t feel guilty and definitely push for his mental. You’re his biggest supporter and biggest fan so help him take care of himself and even if he gets angry or lashes out be patient. Be open with the doctors and therapists. You got this mama!
