Maternity pay when work has been bought over
My work has been bought over by a new company, the sale happened on Monday and my contract is being tuaped over so will stay the same. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant, will I still be entitled to mat pay when it’s a new company?
Your length of service should stay the same under the new company therefore you’d still be entitled they only thing that might change is the maternity policy may change for example if they offer enhanced maternity pay the new company that owns it can change it so standard smp x
