Obviously going through IVF was horrible for us all, but does anyone ever feel there is a silver lining? For me, I'm no longer scared of anything medical. They can poke and prod and test me and I'm totally unphased. Makes me hopeful that I might cope better during birth than mums who are terrified of needles, for example. I kinda feel like I have a secret superpower!
I feel the same way. I used to be afraid of needles, hate anything gyn related, and was generally medically squeamish. After being proded and injected for months, doctors can do whatever and I'm pretty relaxed.
Completely agree I felt like the birth was just all part of the never ending IVF process, so could cope with everything feeling like it was just more medical procedures but this time I won! 😊
