I've been guessing based on how much room they have or size of the placenta. I read recently that girls have a larger placenta. I'm pregnant with a girl now and my placenta is huge and the baby has very little room to move around. I dunno was wrong once and right once so far. Some of the pictures I could tell where the placenta is. Can't really tell from your picture where your.placenta is and the picture isn't showing your whole uterus.

I was only 12 weeks at this scan don't know if that might have anything to do with it I can't make out what anything is just the baby in the middle 🤣

Yeah. This ultrasonographer for this pregnancy is really not trying to take any glam shots. The sonographer for my last baby labeled everything. Sent me 6 pictures. This time I got two really creepy 3d pictures same angle. Looks like a monster if you can make out a baby at all and one regular side view.
