Sick kid
anyone else’s kid have this horrible choking like cough for the last 3 weeks and having multiple doctors tell you over and over they’re fine ? 😭 Fevers last about 4 days then leave for a few and come back and he’s in so much pain from these coughs.

they gave me meds for pneumonia the other day but don’t think it is even pneumonia as his lungs apparently sound perfectly normal….. but hoping the meds work. they said if it’s anything bacterial these meds should work but day 3 on them and nothing has changed. I feel so bad for him 😭
Give it time. My doctor said if my son's cough didn't clear by the time the 10 days of meds were done, that he might need a puffer. His cough started going away by day 8 or so

My son has the same symptoms, hes on antibiotics and steroids along with puffers for possible pneumonia/rsv/bronchulitis. Hes feeling much better but the cough comes when he runs around too much.
Yup. My son had a cough for 2 months. At first the doctor said it was a cold, then later he said it is most likely pneumonia and gave him antibiotics. Cleared him right up within 1.5 weeks of taking meds. No more cough!
