I am pregnant with my second baby

With my first baby I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia plus emergency cesarean section at 37 weeks of pregnancy, My baby is 19 months old. I am 10 weeks pregnant my doctor prescribed me aspirin to take at 12 weeks of pregnancy. Is there a risk if I don't take aspirin? Or if he takes, will he have any risk of being a victim of the pre-eclampsia?

I have a similar story to yours except I delivered early at thirty-three weeks. I also got prescribed the baby aspirin to take every day. I'm currently 20 weeks and my blood pressure has been good. My entire pregnancy. The baby aspirin is supposed to help keep it regulated

@Dest thank you ❣️

I got HELLP syndrome during labor with my first, i took the baby aspirin as instructed during my 2nd pregnancy and my readings were always perfect. Not sure if it was the baby aspirin or not but my second delivery went so much better! Also both were via c-sections.

@Jasmin Have you ever forgotten to take aspirin?
