Eating out

Hey, what does everyone get their LO when eating out? We probably eat out every couple of weeks so wondering if ordering him a kids meal would be ok? I know obviously there’s salt in the food but is this ok if it’s not regular? Not sure if I’m over thinking 😂

We just take some snacks for her and/or a pouch - then she will eat little bits off our meals (depending what we have of course!) xx

I just give some of mine, my partners or kids food 😅 Just got to remember the no honey thing

I’d take something or give a piece of mine - too much wasted otherwise as the portion wont likely be suited for an 8mth baby.

I sometimes take a banana and will just mash that with a fork and give it to her or I take a pouch. Depending on what I have I might give her some of mine but I take something else for her just in case

I've found that the majority of the restaurants kids' menu is like a 3 course thing and not just 1 meal, so we just give her something from our plate because eating out is usually a last-minute thing. If we plan it then I'll just take something with me.

We very rarely go out for dinner but when we have, we’ve ordered her a kids meal. We went to Nando’s recently and she had a chicken breast, cucumber sticks and spicy rice and ate the lot (well half was on the floor!). She is a very confident eater though and eats whatever we eat at home. Although I wouldn’t be doing that if we went out every couple of weeks as I’d be worried about the salt (and the money!) but I’m not concerned about once in a while 😊

I usually just take him a pouch and some snacks and maybe give something of mine if it’s fine for him to eat xx
