The reality of having a christmas baby

Is anyone else getting upset at how babys birthday feels like its being ignored? My sons birthday is before christmas and family just keep saying x days before christmas like his birthday is before christmas you havent mentioned that at all!! Just so upset that no one seems to be thinking his birthday is as important as i am. I am SO emotional over his first year and no one has even mentioned it Is this how it will be every year 😢

We are a few days after Christmas so I do kind of get it, but equally I wouldnt say Ive ever been super invested in other peoples kids birthdays (even close family) until the day itself or the party itself so its probably just the same, it would naturally be a much bigger deal for the parents than anyone else. Plus Christmas is everywhere for like two months and such a big thing and people feel so much pressure. As long as they show up for your son on his actual birthday I wouldnt be too annoyed personally. Hope that doesnt sound mean, just considering the perspectives of the other people

I think it's just a part of having a December baby that you can't escape unfortunately! My little boy will be 1 on the 21st and it does feel a bit like his birthday and Christmas have merged into one. We have made sure we have things planned for his birthday that are separate etc but it can be hard to make it feel special x

Christmas Day baby here and it’s going to be hell when she’s older
