Post miscarriage question

I had my first miscarriage last Monday at 7 weeks, and my husband and I are devastated. For those who’ve experienced this, how long did it take for you to conceive again successfully? Did you start trying right away, or did you wait until after your first period post-miscarriage?

So sorry for your loss. Your now more fertile than before so it’s up to you how soon you physically feel ready to start, after my miscarriage last year I chose to take a break for 2 months to have 2 full periods. I was pregnant again the third month after the miscarriage. Don’t stop taking your folic acid and any other supplements keep those going, I personally also took selenium with added vitamins to increase my progesterone.

So sorry to hear about loss. I had a chemical miscarriage a few years ago and was pregnant again the following month which was a healthy pregnancy. Sending baby dust your way xx

@Gemma yep my pregnancy following the miscarriage has resulted in my son who is now 4 months old.

Sorry for your loss. It will get better with time. I waited for one cycle and we tried again, as dr advised. Keep taking folic acid, good food and physical activity. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can conceive again.
