Increase meals gradually wit more food each time or u should consider like eating ur 3 meals a day plus an ensure or two on top of that to make sure u get what u need
Id check with a doc too as can be sign of problems. Having meals and snacking often too, the more often you can manage. Peanut butter, nuts are fatty, cheese, a bit of junk, juice, mackrell is v high in cals
I got the skinniest I’ve ever been while postpartum and breastfeeding. I just continued eating A LOT. The weight climbed up again when I stopped breastfeeding but I waited 2 years to do so lol
It will slow down as your baby starts taking in more calories from solid food. I'd start with a pint of ice cream or a nice big burrito. Then I'd make Christmas cookies and eat half the dough before baking any. But you know, you do you. 😄 Maybe pinterest scroll food ideas until something looks delicious. Or, maybe you'd like to keep a few kinds of nuts, olives, or a veggie tray out on the counter so you can grab one bite at a time as you're walking back and forth. Add in a delicious dip for flavor and calories. Mmm...
@Bonny this made me so hungry lol I love it ❤️
I second getting your health checked out! I gained 40 lbs during pregnancy and lost 60 by 6 months postpartum, and it ended up being postpartum thyroiditis causing hyperthyroidism. It's more common than people think.
I’m in the same boat. Hate it
Following because same!
Gotta focus on eating protein & carbs!
I would add in a protein powder drink of some kind twice a day! Make sure they are good tasting tho!😅😅 I prefer plexus protein shakes or then equip! Both are delicious!
What type of foods are you eating? How often are you eating? I struggled with my first to keep weight on with breastfeeding. Once I started focusing on high protein & a good amount of fat things evened out.
Honestly I lost a lot of weight when I breastfeed. When I stop, when my kids are done, my weight goes back to normal. Breastfeeding can burn anywhere from 300 calories or more each session. I breastfed my son and daughter until they were about 3.5. With my daughter my weight went all the way down to 125 maybe 115? I don’t remember exactly but when I stopped, it didn’t take long for me to hit 145 or 150. Your body is using a lot of energy and calories to produce and nourish your milk. I don’t think you should stop breastfeeding but I understand how challenging your reflection can be when you’re not happy with your weight. I’m nursing now and I lost my butt completely. I’m extremely skinny looking with no curves anymore but I know the breastfeeding journey is temporary. But I’d support your choice either way! 🤍
I was like this. I just let myself have any snacks I wanted. Tried to keep them healthy
@Allison I second this I was going to say check your thyroid for hyperthyroidism
Id increase meals if possible but I struggle as well as I have a high metabolism 😅
