Evening feeding - formula?!

I am formula feeding my newborn (only 5 days old) and she seems a very hungry baby particularly in evening time, I am feeding and burping in a constant cycle for a good 3 hours and she's having about 40ml at a time, chugging so much! I'm worried this is too much though? But she is constantly licking her lips, hands in mouth showing signs that she's hungry.. so should I just continue on, or try to pull the amount back somehow?

Google cluster feeding, normal for a really young baby even if formula fed. Shes just hungry, follow her cues 😊

Honestly it’s normal. If she’s hungry just go with it. I know you’re probably thinking “surely you can’t be hungry” but they can be. It will settle as the days go by and you’ll find your rhythm xx

I had the same concern...you can't over feed her she'll tell you when she's done

If she spits it up or stop taking it then she's had enough but sounds like cluster feeding. Carry on feeding on demand sounds like she's a hungry one 🙃

Thank you everyone 💖💖
