Formula feeding

Hi ladies, My little girl is almost 9 months old and i’m struggling to work out how much milk she needs to be having as it varies every day. Granted, shes also teething at the moment so i understand that could also be a varying factor but i’ll give a bit of insight, usually she would drink 260ml of milk in each bottle and she has 3 bottles a day and 3 meals, now shes drinking 150ml, 200ml, sometimes even 60ml over the course of 4 bottles. I suppose I’m just looking for a rough guide in either ‘oz or ml’ that i can use for guidance. Thanksss 😘

If you look online should get you a estimate and if you know your babies weight that would help. For reference my daughter is 7 months just over 20lb she drinks about 800mls-1000mls a day over 3 bottles ( she’s only ever had 3/4 bottles a day since birth she is having 2 meals a day and gaining weight well also teething If I was you I’d give her atleast 250 in morning and hopefully she drinks that and try not to give massive portions of food and try and Increase other feeds to say 200mls and 100-120mls.

Thank you Kelly, she currently weighs 8.4kg which is 18.5lbs sometimes she drinks like 450ml a day, other times shes a right pig And drinks almost double, she has drank 210ml happily now for the past 3 days when prior to that she was doing 150ml when she was poorly and her teeth were off, her portion sizes arent huge per say, she has porridge in the morning, lunch time is just finger foods and then dinner is a full savoury portion of either the heinz pots or what we have followed by fruit or baby rice pudding for dessert 🥰

@Tara sounds good try keep giving her more milk but I am sure all is well, ever baby is different. Xx

Definitely, I will do thankyou lovely! 🥰
