As often as I want. Rn it's about once a week that I go hang with my friends at free cover, free pool, and karaoke at the local rainbow club
I get my nails done. Sometimes I get to go without my toddler
Because I’m not a single parent, we take turns putting our baby to bed so that the other person can have a kid free evening once or twice a week.
Whenever I need to. I usually have a night out every now and then and work out approx 3 times a week. My partner is home with the baby during this time. We both can have free individual free time. It's actually harder for us to have couple time out of the house as we don't trust anyone else to stay with our baby.
We usually ask one or the other set of parents once a month to look after our little boy for a few hours so we can go out. Usually, to a gig of a local group, we follow.
I never and I’m okay with that. If we have date night we are typically back by midnight or 1am and pass out once home. I have kids free days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are all mine. It’s all about me).
I mean, I get baths and a few hours to myself most evenings after 7, because dad usually does bedtime. So I get baths a couple times a week. In terms of an actual kid free evening, once or twice a month when she stays at grandma's.
I do not get kid free evenings yet due to work schedule, and if he is off it would mess with the routine too much, but if it is doable for you then you should get one about as often as your husband does.
Right now my husband and I can take turns going out whenever we want, but we usually eat dinner and spend some time as a family first. We get grandparents to babysit at least once a month for us to go out together. We're trying to take advantage of this before our twins arrive and it'll be much harder to have kid free time.
I do community theater productions, so whatever nights I have rehearsal, my husband takes the kids so I can go!
Twice a week but I co parent
Every. Single. Friday. And sometimes a Sat to see a friend or have drinks/dinner w her or a group catch-up 🙃 As a couple, once a month we go on date nights. Before I go out I usually do my nails for the night out then have a shower then get dressed and I usually don’t come home until 1-2am Demand your time hunni. They won’t offer 💁🏻♀️
I’m not married, so it really depends on my daughter’s schedule.
By myself, at least once a month if not more. As a couple, probably once every 3 months. Our goal for 2025 is a babysitter at least one night a month. We have 3 kids and my husband is perfectly capable of putting them to bed without me there. No reason he can’t watch the kids while I go to dinner with my friends or a birthday party or something.
