HIV

Hey I’m due with my second bubba in June, I went to have my 14 week midwife appointment and they told me my bloods are all okay apart from my HIV, it came back inclusive and now I’m worried to death. I haven’t had any other sexual partners, I’ve been with mine for the last 8 years, I also haven’t told him how my appointment went as he will panic and go into thinking the worse and I don’t want our relationship to be ruined. Had anyone had the same experience with a first inclusive result or testing positive after. I’ve read into it and I have seen a few pregnant people say the same but the 2nd one came back negative.

So did you know you have HIV before? I read it wrong, sorry. That is scary. When do you get the results back again?

I tested positive for herpes while pregnant got tested afterwards because I was literally so confused as I had never tested positive before or had any breakouts etc and it came back negative. Still no answer as to why..

I don’t wanna put any ideas into ur mind but if u haven’t been w anyone the past couple years and u take the test again and it comes back positive.. I think u need to reevaluate ur relationship. I’m HOPING that’s not the case but it’s not uncommon for men to cheat on their pregnant partners. I’m hoping it comes out negative and was just a fluke but I think it’s important to think of all possibilities also so u can have a plan in action just in case. I hope u have a safe rest of ur pregnancy and delivery

Don’t worry if there’s nothing to worry about. Can’t put stress on urself because you’re pregnant. The test is neither positive nor negative. Just do another test and then go from there. Good luck and I wish u a negative test 💕

@Chanie 1-2 weeks. I didn’t know, no x

@Trinity that’s so strange. Thank you

@Ayanna thank you x

@Jody thank you. The amount I’ve been stressed is not okay, not sleeping or eating properly:(
