Nights

Does your LO still have milk in the night and do they still wake up thru the night. My LB is such a terrible sleeper 🥲🥲

Yes, she just turned 2 and still has night bottles to go to sleep and wakes up wanting a bottle to settle. I’ve been giving her a night banana before bed and since doing that we’ve only had 1 wake a night, which is much better than the 3 I was dealing with. X

My daughter had weaned herself off it, we used to give cup of milk 45 mins before bed and over time she just drank less until now she doesn’t even ask for it! And she gets none over night! Only wakes once every few nights!

Yes! He has a bottle to go to sleep and 2 overnight when he wakes but he literally gets the bottle and drifts back off to sleep. I've tried water in his bottles and also milk in a different/water type bottle but he kicked right off and was then properly awake. I've decided he needs them so can have them until he decides he doesn't want them anymore x

We still give a bottle for bed, and in the night when he wakes once or twice. He weaned himself off them but started again a few months ago. It's not hurting him, and it's the only way to get him to go to sleep again without going absolutely mental. He will stop when he is ready. And I think as mums with challenging toddlerhood, we need to do what males things easiest for us

The only time she has milk is with her weetabix . She doesn’t wake up in a night unless she needs to go on the potty and thats very rare

Bottle before bed and when he wakes up in morning but nothing during the night he sleeps through x

Bottle before bed but she sleeps through so doesn't have any overnight

Yeah we wake up to our two year old in our bed every morning without fail and he still has a bottle before bed sometimes I need to go and get him one during the night too x

@Kelly I’m going to try this, to think about it my dude had a banana before bed on Monday and slept AMAZING😂 definitely going to try and see how it helps. Thank you so much x

@Vicki wow lucky you 😂 I’m joking, that’s really good, my dude never had a dummy or anything just seems to rely on milk to settle him x

@Vicky thank you for this! It’s so nice to hear it’s not just me/us! When we went to the dentist she was like no stop him drinking his milk but it’s so much easier said than done xx

@Harriet 10000% thank you, it’s so nice to hear is not just us, All my mum friends near me all have great sleepers or none milk drinkers! :/ xxx

@Rasma aww that’s really good! Xx

@Charlotte that’s really good c

@Vicky thank you! Xx

Yep, my boy still wakes at least once a night and expects the boob, and honestly I'd much rather just let him have it and settle back down 🤷‍♀️
