Sma or aptamil?

I have been using kendamil formula for my little girl since her birth. Besides a bit of reflux she was absolutely fine with it and we never thought of changing it. Unfortunately now I haven't been able to get follow on milk anywhere for atleast a month or two and my girl is 9 months. I have been giving her the occasional bottle of first milk in between her meals, but I am not doing it anymore because I can't be always worried if the milk will be available to buy or no. I am looking to change her formula over to either SMA or Aptamil. Which one is more recommended and gentler on the little tummys?

Hi! We personally have not tried SMA but Aptamil has been great for us. Apparently, Bonya is by Kendamil which more accessible for mums to buy. You might wanna have a look at that too? 😊

They are both good and well known brands so it should be easy to get hold of either of them but I am using SMA

@Maria I didn't know that! Thanks I'll have a look at it x

I use aptamil and have never had a problem with it - if you do go for aptamil I recommend buying it from icelands as it’s £2.50 cheaper then main supermarkets x

@Tasmin thank you for the tip x

tbh i think the different ages is apart of a marketing scheme bc my mum bestie said her health visitor told her that 1 and 2 milk don’t rlly have different ingredients. maybe try mover her onto cows milk? i stopped using kendamil bc i was never in stock😂😭

@Rochelle I think 2 just has couple more vitamins or something. But it's such a headache. Never available 😭
