Headbutting.. i think

My sons 8 months and a few days, he has a thing where he will press his forehead on anything or anyone and just start pushing full force sometimes he headbutts just before pushing fullforce. Anyone deal with this and no how to stop it?

My son also does this ,he only really does it to me and his dad though,we never really thought anything of it. When we ask for a kiss, he gives his forehead, but now he just nuts you whenever 😅 He's recently started headbutting the floor when he's frustrated too 😟. My lo is 17 months

My son does this to me all the time. I do it right back, he thinks it’s funny. Boys are just rough.

It’s just boys honestly my son does it and my friends sons and they think it’s the funniest thing ever

My little man does this.. but it's more to do Eskimo kisses. He puts his forehead against mine and rubs his nose against mine. He gets a little forceful with it sometimes because he is excited. Boys are a little rougher. He will be 9 months on the 4th. He used to flail his arms a lot and hit. I spent. Lot of time teaching him gentle. Now he pats instead of hits. When he hit my face, I would look at him and calmly say gentle while I lightly touched his face in the same place he hit me, then I would take his hand and lightly touch it to the place where he had hit me. It took a bit, but it worked.. maybe that would work in this situation?

@Lauren i do that as well with him. Now that i think about it it may be because of eskimo kisses because he rubs his nose to mine as well. Guess he likes giving the wall eskimo kisses as well cus he does it to the wall all the time as well
