Significant weight gain since June (have been pregnant twice and miscarried)

Hi all. I am normally around the 9 stone mark. I am 5 ft 3. I have ballooned (to almost 11 stone) since I was pregnant in June and cannot get rid of it. I lost my baby in August, then fell pregnant again with twins but lost them earlier at 8 1/2 weeks. It doesn’t help that my body literally cannot tolerate cardio due to poor physical health but I can walk quite a bit without it having many issues. I try to do Pilates once a week but this can make me suffer sometimes. Any tips on specific diets? I am TTC again so anything that may be beneficial for that too would be great! I’m so new to this. I have always been really lucky that I’ve never been overweight until now. Thanks in advance.

the best way to "diet" is just to count calories and consume less than you are burning. my sister has had a lot of success with keto, and she has PCOS that makes weight loss very difficult. i had GD with both of my pregnancies, and following the GD diet helped me lose weight toward the end. what is your current diet like?

I've went from 169 to 163. What's the GD diet.

gestational diabetes lol. having to control my blood sugars was really helpful in watching my overall food consumption. I filled up on veggies, limited my carbs, cut out most added sugars, and prioritized protein. plus a bunch of water every day, especially on cheat days lol
