C section thread

Yes mine did around 6 weeks. I pulled it out and the skin finally healed overnight

With my first c section I had this and it did eventually go.

I had this and my midwife said to apply warm pressure to dissolve it so I ran a muslin under the hot tap to make it warm and held it there for a while which worked. She also suggested having a bath as an alternative to soak it and dissolve it that way

I’ve had a bath to try and soak mine and dissolve them but I’ve got quite a few still 🙃😂

5 weeks pp and I have quite a bit still. It will eventually go away

I’ve got one sticking out too, my partner cut it down as it was catching but makes me feel queasy. It still hasn’t gone. Can you have a bath at 3 weeks post c section?

I had this and my doctor picked it off at my 6 weeks check up

@Ashleigh ha it's second nature for me I work in the hospital I had my baby in. Honestly once the knotted bit was removed the little pesky open bit that wouldn't join up just closed overnight!
