I’m tired of validating my toddlers emotions.

That’s it. It’s freaking exhausting. I’m at the end of my stamina. Hopefully three is more manageable tantrum wise.

My baby is only 10mo but as an early years educator I know what you mean. It has to be even more tiring when you're the mom! It is so worth it, he/she will be a healthier person thanks to the effort you're making right now. You're giving she/he a great sense of self and helping with their development. Well done mama! You deserve the world!!

I have the same problem with my three year old. I tell her once, I see you're angry/upset/disappointed. I can't help you until you calm down. I don't want to be screamed at. Then I put on one ear bud and ignore whatever screaming fit they have. Whenever she stops I offer a hug or we talk about it
