No never! It's usually just full flow right away with lots of cramps

You can take a test, but I'd wait for the spotting to stop in case your period isn't 'normal' this cycle. X

Thank you ladies! This would be my second period post miscarriage if it's my period so it very well could be not back to normal yet!

12dpo is far enough along to get a positive test but as others have suggested sometimes knowing you were pregnant can just make it harder if your period ends up coming. Personally i wouldn’t have even been able to wait 12 days I’d rather know either way

I never used to spot before a period until I turned 33-34ish. 😑

I took at test at 11 dpo (day before spotting) and it was negative but today would be 13 dpo and the bleeding is heavier but only when I wipe not on a pad but the cramps came so I think it is my period... before miscarriage my periods were between 33-40 days very irregular.. this cycle was 25 days so very different than what I'm used to... thank you ladies for all your help 🩵
