Pooping in the toilet
My toddler has done amazing with doing wees on the toilet and has no accidents anymore, however we can’t seem to get him to do poops on the toilet. He is willing to sit on there for couple mins and says it’s not coming and ends up doing it in his pants.
Any tips please it’s been over a month now 😭

Also what made things change for us is everytime I see him trying to go I pick him up and sit him on the toilet or potty and say gently poo wants to go in the toilet, he doesnt like it in your pants. Never thought I would have to resort to putting glitter on poo! Hopefully he doesn't regress with the pee like my 3 year old is lol

Hi it's been about 4 months for me in the same situation. I was pulling my hair out and finally one day after reading the book what is poo he did it! Don't get me wrong we are not fully there yet. He pooped in his pants twice today and has been witholding a lot and only been like 5 times on the potty but slowly we're getting there. Now his just regressing with peeing aghh lol. Also I've found personifying poo helps (I know sounds mad lol)...like saying poo doesn't like being in your pants as he gets squashed, his home is the toilet. I have literally tried everything, we even put glitter on his poo when he goes, which has definitely made him less anxious to go
