My understanding is that formula for under 6mo is heavily regulated so the actual product will not differ from one brand to another. In terms of brand, take your pick, but from my experience look for something that could be available when you travel, or when your favourite shops are closed. I used waterwipes as it was ok’ed by all my friends who had children and they were great, and my son has quite sensitive skin. Also, 3 months is a looot of time, really don’t worry. Especially in London where you can get anything delivered. I had everything ready a month before and it seemed like I was waiting for him forever, made the wait so much longer.
Thank you for your advice , it was really helpful. And thank you for the reassurance… perhaps I’m feeling overwhelmed!
For a brand new baby I would always suggest cotton wool and water when possible. For wipes, no evidence around the best but personally I favoured beaming baby. Use microwave sterilising is still a good option but heat sterilising is not compatible with all bottle types so you have to check individual packaging. You can also purchase steam steriliser and cold water sterilising is a good option with tablets such as milton.
