My babies doing the same! I gave her more to last longer but it’s like SHE KNOWS and stops at 4 oz. Which means she’s getting hungry ever 2 hours! Throughout the night 😭😭😭😭 I’m going to try put a routine in place - I’ve asked people on the app for advice on that x
My daughter is the same! She is also still feeding every 3-4 hour overnight too!! I cannot get her to physically drink anymore though, I’ve just put it down to the fact she must just have a small stomach! Xx
Every 3 hours 6 ounce sleeps through the night 8:30/9:00pm to 8am try give 5 ounce before bedtime see if she sleeps longer then when she wakes give 5 ounce as she’ll be extra hungry from sleeping longer
Mine is the same. What i have recently started is to offer slightly less at night (3oz) and pop dummy in to try to get her to feed more in the day and start getting her less dependent on night feeds to go back to sleep. This hasn't seemed to affect her waking up more than usual and she seems to take a couple of bigger bottles in the morning now (5 or nearly 6 oz). She does generally only wake max 2 times before 6am usually anyway though.
@Sheri this is a good idea! I may try this as I still offer mine a full bottle at night feeds!!
The only way would be to stretch her to 3-3.5 hours and then see if she will take more but some will only take little and often unfortunately. Their appetites all vary. My girl has only recently started taking 5oz with the very occasional 6 (usually last feed) so she is fed every 3 hours in the day time but she mostly sleeps through the night. I found with night feeds I was waking her up more trying to get her to feed when actually she just wanted a dummy or a cuddle or just had wind so I stopped automatically feeding her when she woke and now I only make her a bottle if she’s properly awake for more than about 20 mins (it doesn’t happen often though)
