Too much Calpol

My baby boy got his 8 week immunisation yesterday and the dr said to give him calpol every 4 hours and I am dyslexic and when I read the bottle it says to give no more than 4 doses but that’s in 3-6 months and 2 month olds should only have 2 doses per 24 hours so he’s had 2 extra doeses. He seems fine but should I ring 111?

My LG had her injections yesterday and they said to ignore what is on the calpol box. My GP told me to give 3 doses and the 4th if she has a temperature, so i wouldn’t worry x

My little boy was having 2.5ml calpol every 5 hours at 6 weeks old with a doctors ok so i wouldn’t stress they only say 2 doses in 24hr incase you mask a fever that needs hospital treatment obviously you know that your little one doesn’t x

i work for 111; def call if you’re concerned but he will most likely be fine! just watch out for any unusual symptoms x

Oh perfect thank you so much everyone this is really helpful and has eased the stress obviously I’m still keeping an eye on him just incase Xx
