Weaning
How has people moved their babies over to more solid bite size food from purée.
My little one is not interested in anything with lumps and just spits them out. I give him toast he will suck on it then feed it to the dogs I’ve given him those Ella’s kitchen melts and he loves them but any veg he won’t touch, He’s coming up to 9 months, any advice would be much appreciated :)

We found not paying any attention helped and not giving her a full plate. We’d place one thing on her tray and essentially ignore her. Have a conversation, make a cup of tea, sing along to the radio. Eventually she’d try it and we’d place another bit of food on her tray. We’d always end with her favourite food, banana and then do a dance once she was out of the high chair to keep mealtimes fun

It’s tricky as if it’s all new then it’s going to take time with lots of exposure! Great that it’s going in his mouth, even if spitting out! Def worth praising. Modelling where possible will help too!
