Scan -back pain
Had our 20 week scan this morning - it's a boy !!!
The sonographer was lovely snd didn't feel like he was pressing too hard but after about 10 mins I got an excruciating pain in my lower right back.
Sat up for a bit and he was lovely
Then lay down so he could do the potty shot but pain started right away
He asked if I'd ever had pain like that before? I said no but have had coccyx pain.
Then I vomited because of the pain and the pain then subsided a little.
He continued and we saw it was a boy 🙂
Still a dull ache now - I've had a wheat heat bag on it all day just resting now
Anyone had similar??
Don't know if it was from the bed , maybe I overcomplicated bending my back cos it's a hard flat surface I've no idea 🤷♀️

@Brianne have to though for the scan ? I felt really bad being sick 😫 was like labour all over again 🙈🤣

Yes I know. That's why they tell you at the beginning of you start to feel a certain way let them know so you can take a break. I was just giving you info on what might have been the cause. And don't sweat it they are used to those things and it's part of their job to handle it. You did great and congrats on your baby boy!

Vomiting from pain is not normal. You should get that checked out
Never happened before . Only when I was in labour and had painful contractions so I assumed I vomited from pain as it was over an hour until they gave me gas and air 🤷♀️

We aren't really supposed to pay flat. It was likely the pressure from the weight of him and your uterus.
