Milk in the day

Little girlie is about to turn 14 months, still has a bottle of milk before her nap in the day. How are you all doing milk in the day whilst you’re out and about? When she had formula I took the ready to use bottles out with me. Now she’s on cows milk I have no idea what I am doing? Someone please help me 😭 she will not go down for her nap (buggy, carried or bed) without a bottle prior. This is something I am trying to work on but it’s a slow burn 😭

We are still doing bottles, and HV said its fine as long as he is also taking sippy/straw cup too, and that there is no rush to stop it.. and im taking it easy with that! In terms of being out and about, i either take a bottle of milk in a small cool bag with an ice pack.. or take an empty bottle and ask a restaurant/cafe for a glass of whole milk. :)

My LO is also still on 3 bottles a day because of this reason. I’m still finishing up the last of his formula but mixing with cows milk. So far when we’ve been out I’ve ordered warm milk in a cafe etc. he won’t take it cold sadly but if he did I would put it in an insulated cold bag which we already have for lunches etc.

My little girl still usually has one in the day so if we’re out I take it in a flask, pour it into a bottle and then ask for a mug of jug of boiling water to warm the bottle up. All in plenty of time as it takes a while to warm through!

Thank you so much for your advice! I did think about a flask but I didn’t know if it was going to go funny 😂🤦‍♀️ thank you again!!
