Thankyou. Well I was having extremely painful contractions and wasn’t handling it well at all and at 6.41 I was still at 2cms but by 7.01 she was in my arms, so not sure how why or what happened but it’s wasn’t the nicest at all and taking a while for my body to adjust lol xx
Congratulations, hope ypure both settling well x
Thankyou yes we are now xx
Congratulations! Speedy labours feel brutal - was the same for me in the early hours of Tuesday. Pleased she arrived safe and sound and you don’t need to worry about being able to get your Christmas dinner 😉 (I know I was!) Enjoy the baby bubble, get your feet up and have some well earned rest. She’s gorgeous x
@Lorraine i found out after it's called precipitous labour it's an actual thing. I completely disassociated from my body so i remember everything but it didn't really feel like me doing it. Im actually kind of glad that it's not just me feeling that way about I've really struggled to process everything mentally and physically. At least you're both safe and home xx
Massive congratulations! Having gone from nothing to baby in just under an hour myself this time round I can fully relate to this being a lot to process. The main thing is you're both ok and over time I'm sure you'll process what happened
Thankyou everyone, she’s my 5th and although they have all been fairly quick, my third I was the same but birthed her at home without midwife or ambulance there but this little lady’s birth was worse and took me hours to just come round to the idea it was so surreal and out of body
Congratulations! I thought my hour and 15 was quick! It sounds amazing to have a fast labour but besides the pain and other luckily minor complications it was a very weird experience that I still haven't wrapped my head around
