@D definitely got pregnant with my first after we decided not to “try” anymore and just focus on our careers. i conceived about a week after we made that decision. lol.
I didn’t get a rise in body temp at all and I ovulated and conceived this month!
That was us too for our first, then I tracked for 10 months this year, stopped and got a positive a couple weeks ago.
With BBT... Do you take your temp before you do anything? I used to have mine under my pillow so when I woke I didn't move my head no nothing just grabbed it and put it in... As you need to be as rested as possible without much movement, the OPKs, as you get closer to ovulation or they begin to get darker you should test twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening as not to miss the peak as mine would be high morning and then 9/10pm I could have my peak, ewcm is good indicator of ovulation is near! And it's best to have sex every other day during ovulation week and day if peak (even if you had sex day before)... As sex everyday reduces the quality of the sperm to fertilise the egg, hope that maybe some help x
I find opks a lot easier than bbt. It sounds like you’re doing opks too so I’d say if you haven’t gotten peak yet you might have actually just not ovulated yet. I usually ovulated late in my cycle but this time around I was really late, cycle day 23 or 26 before I finally ovulated (last cycle was a miscarriage so I’m not sure what bleeding counted as CD 1) I also had several days if not a week of egg white before I finally ovulated. So maybe you’re getting close! Definitely keep tracking. I’ll be curious to see if my period is also delayed and by how much. My luteal phase tends to be shorter as is so I hope I still have a chance this round.
@Jordan congratulations!! 🎉 that’s definitely giving me a little bit of hope.. lol🤞🏻
@D congratulations!! 🎉
@Jen i sometimes will have to roll over and reach for it. i place it right on top of my phone. and honestly i don’t take them at the same time.. so maybe that’s why my chart is so off. 😭 maybe thermometer BBT isn’t for me. lol but other BBT tracking options are so expensive. i take OPK 2 sometimes 3 times a day. the highest i got was .4 then it went back down to .26 and up .32. i’m hoping that because i had a longer period this cycle, that i will just ovulate later (soon) cause i’m at CD 26.
@Jessica bbt is so hard complicated! lol. baby dust to us ✨💞 last cycle it looked like i ovulated around CD 18/19. but this cycle i had a longer period.. about 2 weeks! so idk when i ovulated.. if it was earlier or i haven’t ovulated yet.
Yeah maybe that's why it's off hun, can you not put it under or inside your pillow so it's just a case of moving your hand? Once you are in the swing of it, it gets abit easier... I tracked for 14 months before I fell pregnant with my daughter! I have pcos so my periods are very irregular and that so always kept testing until I got my peak, my cycle was 62 days when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter! And I ovulated on 54CD (I tested positive on 8dpo hence 62 days) if you feel it's taking its toll try stopping for a month or 2 and try again best of luck to you hun 🤞 x
I found not tracking is the best for your head and chances. Just start having sex everyday 3 days after your period and keep going
