Bottles

Need some advice with bottles, when my little one first went on to formula I was using Tommee tippee bottles but so much was coming out of his mouth he was getting drenched every bottle, we went onto mam bottles he was doing great on them. Recently his been clicking on the bottle and has really really struggled with trapped wind. I brought some size 2 teats, he settled on it but has started clicking again like he can’t drink it fast enough. Size 3 teats say 4months+ his only 2 months. Can I start them early? Or does anyone have any other advice

I would say give it a go! I think they’re only guidelines! I know a baby who is 16 weeks and still on 1, mines 9 weeks and on 2. Just whatever works for your baby!

My little boy went on to MAM size 2 teats at 7 weeks cause he would just get angry at the flow of size 1 as he wasn’t getting it fast enough. Ages on the teats are just a guideline and all babies like different flows better so I would definitely try size 3 and see how it goes!

Move him up, keep the 2. If it’s not working switch back to 2 then you have the 4+ ready and waiting xx

Omg mine does this and is really screaming when she feeds. She constantly clicks when she feeds and I’ve been trying to research it. Is it because she can’t latch onto it or something? How has yours been since moving the teat up a size?

@Eve his doing better on size 2’s I’ve tried size 3’s and they are way to fast for him so I’m a bit of a loss. The clicking isn’t as bad on 2’s I think my little boy is clicking because his sucking to hard and not getting enough
