It's possible that baby is learning how to poop on their own (up until now it's been a reflex). I would give him some more time. My girl also didn't poop for like 12 hours and then it all came at once and since then she's been regular. I wouldn't worry too much yet personally. Can always call your ped if you are tho
Depending on whether your baby is formula or breastfed, sometimes it’s perfectly okay. I know for sure it’s normal for breastfed babies to only go a couple times a week. Of course if your baby is uncomfortable then I would be more concerned, either the thermometer would work or Frida Baby Windi works well too!
Anything up to 5 days is considered normal
It depended if they’re formula or breastfed breastfed could take like a week but at this age they could not be eating enough unless you’re pumping and see what they’re eating but if you’re doing formula then I’m not too sure just try to maybe run their belly try the bike kicking move after feeds but if you’re concerned pediatricians usually have a nurse line you could call too!
Mine didn't poop for 2 days. Contacted the pediatrician and was told if they are breastfed they can go 4-7 days without pooping from "complete absorption" of breast milk. I was shocked!!! Now he poops about every 4 days. The same color and consistency as before when he was going multiple times/day. Just make sure they don't seem in pain, bloated, or hard abdomen.
Not concerning at all
Thank you everyone for the advice I will try more stimulation techniques I recently started combination feeding, so I was a little nervous
put a thermometer in his butt that’s what i was told it’ll relieve all of it and it’ll just come out that’s what i was told
