Following people on SM. How much is too much interaction?

Let's say you start following someone who has a public open account for everyone to see and follow. They are not famous or anything, just a random person whose content you like. They post things about their family, outfits, places they visit, etc. You don't know them in real life. Would you it is too much to give like to their photos, watch their stories or leave comments? Or is it OK and welcome given that they have an open public account? I don't want to look like I am a stalker or obsessed with them, but I feel like I would like to interact more but don't want to make them feel weird.

I work as a graphic designer and often create content for my client’s social media platforms. They’re always talking about how to generate more interactions from followers. If you enjoy an account, interact with it (like, comment, share, and save)! It’s a free way to support content creators, artists, musicians, so on that you follow and enjoy.

@Anne but they don't seem to be that kind of content creator. More like a random normal person with a public account posting about their regular life. The only comments they get seem to be from family members.

My assumption would be that if they didn’t want people they don’t personally know seeing and interacting with their photos, they would have a private account.

It’s fine, that’s why their stuff is public
