I might try the yoghurt actually because as much as I want him to have it I equally don’t wanna traumatise him 😅 hope your little one gets better soon! Xx
@Chloe mine used to literally ask for calpol before the last illness. Now he cries hysterically every time he even sees the bottle so I know exactly how you feel
@Emma oh poor thing! I wonder what changed for him, hopefully it’s just a phase and they’ll just get used to it again in time. It will definitely ease the mum guilt lol
I used to put it in a yoghurt as she HATED it- now I do feel like she understands it makes her better she pulls a disgusted face when she takes it but she does now bless her xx
@Corinne this is creative! Haha thank you it would definitely be worth a try!!
@Elizabeth I think this will be my next try, thank you! I’m sure it’s probably just a phase they go through! Xx
My boy refuuuuuused, but he actually likes the taste 🤷🏼♀️ I found that if I put a tiny bit on my finger first and put on his lips, he then accepts it from syringe. Obvs won't work if they don't like the taste, but I though mine didn't until I tried this. Guess he just wanted to know what I was giving him.
@Klara ahh this makes sense, I might give it a try- I guess the syringe can be quite intimidating too!
I just had the same and basically did the same as you. Other people have said add it to yogurt or a smoothie. Other than that you’re basically just forcing a syringe in their mouth and hoping they swallow, so so hard!! I used to love the taste to hahah
