Do you enjoy your birthday/ look forward for it?

I personally kind of dread mine and idk why! I love celebrating other people’s birthdays but when it comes to my own I don’t want to even acknowledge it lol

Yeah I’m not a fan , I don’t like being the center of attention or having eyes on me so I’m pretty sure that’s the main reason for me

@Olivia same here!

I love celebrating my birthday. I definitely go out all every year and celebrate all month

mine was 5 days ago and i love it lol. i don't like parties cause i wanna be in charge of the planning but that would be too much work so we do outings and i will usually be out ALL day. so good

I used to. Since becoming a mum it hits different 😂 it was my birthday on Wednesday and my toddler unwrapped half my presents and blew out the candles on my cake 😂 everyone kept asking me what I was doing to celebrate, I have a 3 year old and an EBF 6 month old…not a lot.

Yes -Every year🥰 I look forward to aging like fine wine 🍷🫠I always celebrate my life in a noticeable way - I celebrate everyone else’s life in my household as well, I love it - it’s definitely my thing💕💕

Mines New Year’s Eve and no one ever cares it’s my birthday 🤣 obs family do, but it never seems like anyone else gives a 💩 x

My birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas. It’s dark and cold and everyone’s skint so no-one wants to celebrate it! So I hate it 😂

I do and don't. It's complicated 😂

No , I cry every yr on my bday but try not to. Idek why I cry. I don’t celebrate it or tell anyone but I was thinking about it a few days ago cause it’s coming up in February. And that’s not the example I wanna set for my kids. Last yr my daughter asked when my bday was and I told her it just passed and she asked why we didnt do anything or have cake. I want my kids to know that their birthdays are special and you should always celebrate them bc you never know how many you’re gonna get. So this year I will probably get myself balloons and cake with a candle and have my kids sing to me 😂

Yes! I just had a birthday on Sunday and it was a great day

My birthday is 2 days after Christmas so it's kinda of just thrown in there. I like my birthday but it's during one of the most hectic holidays. So it's often forgotten about

I used to. My mom loved birthdays so it was always fun and special. Since she passed idc anymore

@Daija I’m sorry for your loss

Yeah I am not a fan of my birthday because every year something shitty happens ever since I was a child 😅. Besides I hate people expecting me to host a party or invite them out and I also don't like to be the center of attention

As a January baby, everyone either completely forgets my birthday or too skint to actually celebrate so I dread it every year

@Daija this is me…. I understand sorry for ur loss 💕😩My birthdays haven’t hit the same since I lost my mum 💕💕

@Zaza It’s hard! I’m definitely trying to reclaim it as if she was here and I acted like this for my birthday should would cuss me out 🥴🤣 she celebrated her birthday for the whole leo season

It wasbt much of a big deal as i got older. Only had 2 actual birthday parties that i can remember. Got to pick a resturaunt to go to that weekend tho which was cool! Now we do one dinner a year (if we can be organized enough to actually go through with it) to celebrate all of the families birthdays at once. I never got the birth week girlies 😅 I do sign up for a bunch of birthday coupons from stores and resturants and stuff though. Free deserts for life!

@Daija exactly!!! She would want u happy and celebrating urself!!! As u should 💕🙏🏾

Ni. My mother's birthday is a week before mine and mother's day is a week after. I've never enjoy her over shadowing me since a child about it. Now that I'm an adult and have my own kid I just do something woth the family on mothers day. If someone Everly remembers my birthday il take the win lol

Love my birthday I love the love I love the attention I love the different ways people show their love to me I love that it has nothing to do with my accolades and accomplishments simply that I’ve survived another year and my friends and family are excited about that

@Nikita it’s the worst month to have a birthday 😭

I love my birthday but not for presents or parties. I like to make myself a cake and do something very relaxing. Last year I went on a solo spa day. I also do enjoy being spoilt by my hubby and baby

I never did before I met my husband. It was always just another day and I didn’t understand why I’d celebrate another year alive (I was suicidal for a long time). Then my partner made my birthday special every year and never fails to say, “I’m grateful you’re alive for another year.” He made me realize how special it is to celebrate more time on Earth. Now that I have an almost 2 year old, birthdays matter even more to me. I don’t necessarily plan big celebrations or look forward to the day but I do love spending the dedicated time with my family full of gratitude.

Yes after having babys i feel birthday differently and appreciate every year I lived ❤️

Nope. Dont care at all for my own birthday. I go all out for everyone else and just get forgotten year after year. Ive only ever had 1 party/birthday cake and that was my 25th 🤷🏻‍♀️ ive stopped getting my hopes up.

I just had my birthday this week and I was dreading it. I dread it every year. I rather just skip it lol

I used to love my birthday, but the last 4 years I hate it, since being with my current partner , he doesn’t bother never even had a card I’ve just ordered my own cake for my 40th next month

Normally I do! But this year.....it was like my life was on fire..... and someone still stopped up the toilet for me. And then....more metaphorically! Everything happened the week of my birthday this year, and I thankfully had a huge cake to eat. Otherwise it was blah and a shower cry....kinda day. (We have a roach problem, I was sick and then got my kids even more sick, our dryer broke and some blinds broke. That's just what I can remember....I'm barely sleeping for starting 2 weeks now. And my husband is upset about it and it feels like he's blaming me for the sickness. Which is infuriating because what am I magically supposed to change?) Happy 27th to me!
