5 month old grunting

Is anyone else’s baby grunting like all the time? She doesn’t appear to be in pain or distressed but there’s this constant grunting when she’s in her bouncer. She doesn’t cry or throw a fit, just grunting along with some “talking”.

Yess my baby does it too. I kinda think he’s trying to shit but also i read they’re just figuring out their voice

My little boy has been grunting since the day he was born lol some babies are just noisier than others 🤷🏼‍♀️

We’ve got grunting, some fake coughing for attention, blowing spit bubbles, you name it haha

My 5 month old has grunting, screaming and fake coughing. Had me checking to see if she was sick but she’s fine. And the screaming, not even crying just letting out a scream

Sounds like she's just trying out all the sounds. Mine went through a week where he screeched constantly, then a period of grunting, then making a sound like an alarm with pitch changes, then something more like growling... They've gotta figure them all out and then practice until they've mastered them. Once they finish practicing a particular sound, they make it a lot less often I've noticed.

@Tess my baby just discovered growling and is loving making that sound a 100 times a day. Lol
