Front seat

I have come to a tough decision to bring my son next to me at the front on long journeys as he screams his head off anything more than 10 minutes journeys . He’s got to that stage where he panics when he can’t see me and scream his head off and the last time I nearly got into an accident because I was so stressed up when he was screaming . Does anyone know how to turn my airbag off as I have no idea and is there anything else I need to do . Thank you for your advice

Check your car manual to make sure it allows child seats at the front. If it does then it’s all good as long as the seat is rear facing. It depends on a car, many cars have it in the glove box x

@Irita thank you . It’s a hyndai i30 2012 model

I have a Hyundai i10 and there’s a little switch thing on the side of the dashboard on the passenger side. You need to open the car door to find it, and I think you need to use your key to turn it to the off position. Worth a check but might be a different in your car
