ADVICE NEEDED

My baby is 7 months and showing no signs of attempting to crawl, I'm really sick of going online and having all these timelines to milestones really puts me off. Any advice to help him crawl? Should I be worried?

No, some babies don't crawl and 7m is still young to crawl

Aww try not to worry. All babies hit developmental milestones at different times, all babies are different. Crawling can begin around 7-10 months according to the NHS. My baby didn’t show any signs either, we just woke up one morning and she was crawling! Give your little one some time, they have lots of information to process and work so hard to workout what to do with all the information their little brains receive each day! I’m sure your baby will get there…Any concerns speak with the health visitor/gp and they can provide more information/reassurance. X

I have no advice but my friends baby is 8 months and doesn’t crawl yet either, they all develop at their own pace 😊

Agree with Samantha above - not all babies crawl - but you can try rolling a ball - we had one with a bell in it

My baby didn't start till 9months but he was a baby that hated being on his tummy and happy to sit still all day, he was very lovely and cuddly, but now at 18months is running everywhere and won't sit still for 1min!!, enjoy your time with the baby honestly as toddlerhood will be round the corner and then your wishing they were the tiny quiet thing sitting in the pram😭

My 7mo isn’t crawling. They will do it in their own time! I skipped crawling and was walking at 9 months! 🤦🏻‍♀️

My boy didn’t crawl at all. He just got up and walked on his first birthday!

My lg is 7.5 months and she has only just started to sit up on her own, all babies go at their own pace, don’t force it or feel worried x

Every baby is different. My LO has only just started crawling after he turned 10 months old. Honestly, enjoy the time while they are less mobile, they will crawl when they are ready and then you will be chasing them all over the place
