Same there I am trying to ask how to increase my milk supply

@Samantha hopefully you can benefit as well from this post. i am aware that pumping helps which is why in getting a hands free pump so that im not stuck to the wall all the time to see if that helps at all. i know you got to stay hydrated which we will say we are but we are literally being drained so we have to keep up with that as well as making sure we eat and are getting nutrients! much luck

The more they nurse the larger the supply. Oats, coconut, fenugreek, fennel all increase milk supply. Have them nurse before they eat or drink other liquids. Drink enough water. The more sleep you get the larger supply. If they don't nurse in the night you could try pumping once during the night. Check to make sure breasts are empty after each feed. If milk is still squirting out, then it is a good time to pump. Making sure breasts are empty after each feed also prevents engorgement. Deep breathing helps enormously with let down. If you're tense and stressing the milk won't drop. Orgasm increases supply as well so nursing or pumping after sex can be helpful. I like the fetal plus hands free wearable double pump the best. Just don't lean all the way over. Bend at the knees or the milk will spill out of the top.

make sure you get enough sleep. relaxing and using deep breathing techniques empty as much as you can thats the sure way to tell your body you need to make more! hands on pumping, hand expression during and after my pumping sessions and finding the right flange size has worked for me power pumping hydrating your body lots of fruits and try to eat oatmeal once a day

@kayla i’ve been a mom for almost four months, breastfeeding and pump. but im embarrassed to say im not sure how to tell if my parts are the right size i just use what they gave me that could be a big factor

@Jessica thank you so much!!!!

@bre give yourself some grace. you’re doing amazing. you can find nipple measurement guides to print out! i know they for sure have some on amazon check that! if you have elastic nipples that could also effect output! i was measured by my LC 21 and 24mm for my flanges but i ended up having to use silicone inserts that are more close to my actual nipple size. you just have to experiment and find what works for you💓

@bre thank you
