Appointments

I’ve just received my appointments on badger notes. I have my 12 week scan and bloods and then the next week I have a midwife led appointment at the hospital which I’m unsure of. Anyone know what this is for so I don’t make myself look silly when ringing haha?

Assume you have had your first midwife booking appointment (the one where they ask you loads of questions and take your blood and a urine sample - takes about 1.5 hours) in order to have the scan booked in? If so the next one would be another urine sample and I think just seeing how things are going (they might refer to your scan results).

@Louise yeah I’ve had the booking appointment and then I also have my 16 week appointment booked in with the community midwife a few weeks after the 12 week scan where she said she’ll take bloods and urine again x

Yeah they are the appointments I have booked also. If it is an extra one to these I would definitely ask what it is for 😊

I had to have a booking appointment with the community midwife and then one at the hospital too, but I have opted to give birth at a hospital that's technically out of area. I'd just ring and ask what it's for, it may just be to go through test results ect

How did you get onto badger notes? Got told I’m to use it but says I need a code from midwife?

@Jess It's usually your birthday in DDMMYY format - that's what mine was.
