Name help

My partners family has a tradition where they use each others names as middle names and middle name as first name etc. if I followed this babies name would be James Stephen LN (last name). However my dad passed away at the start of this year so we want to use his name too (Christopher). We thought about having our dads names as double barrelled like my twins but not sure which sounds better.
