Getting through to ultrasound dept

Hi all, my growth scan on Thursday was cancelled last minute due to the sonographer being sick. Since then I've tried to call so many times to get a new appt and can't get thru to anyone. Just concerned as I have a consultant appt on 2nd Jan and there aren't too many working days left. Anyone got a number other then the main switchboard to get through to them? TIA 😁

Oh that's a different one to what I've got! I got this from an automated message but been number 0 in a queue for over 15minutes every time I can...so don't think it's an active line!

How strange, my midwife told me to use that one but I haven’t actually tried yet

I have been chasing my growth scan appt for 2 weeks. Tried every number, left multiple messages with the community midwives. I'm a bit fed up of having to chase to be honest. 2 weeks is a long time!

Oh wow, that is a long time! Have you tried emailing? My midwife did mention that they’re crap at answering the phone but much better at responding to emails

Apparently it's done through the doctors. It's all very confusing. My midwife has been off sick for most of my pregnancy but I have an appointment Friday so will ask again. I'd just hate for anything to be wrong and waited 2 weeks to find out.

Oh that sucks. I can understand how stressful that can be. I've been trying to get through for nearly a week now and honestly it's terrible. I've tried the number suggested...no answer and tried emailing too. Worst time of year as everyone's definitely in a "December mood" by now!

Physically went to the ultrasound dept after my consultant appt today as I still hadn't heard anything 🙄. At least it's sorted now.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
