Change in behaviour

Anyone else’s LO’s behaviour changed recently? My boy is 19 months today, the past week his behaviour has changed so much, he’s having tantrums kicking off, whenever I change his nappy he proper fights it scratches and smacks me, has also started trying to bite me, he usually has a nap around half 10/11am and goes to bed about 7:30pm but past few days/nights he’s not having his naps and not falling to sleep til 9pm and he’s also not eating as much as usual, he usually demolishes his breakfast and he just picks at it now. Is this an age thing? Is he getting himself into a new different routine or is my child just feral😂😂😂😂

My baby is 19months today too🎉, but he seems chilled so far x

Sleep regression!!!😩😂 my little boys exactly the same and is also 19 months old, I’ve noticed his behaviour is linked to being over tired! Even when he’s eventually fell asleep on the night time he’s awake through the night crying for ‘no reason’ 😂!

My little man’s sleep is the same as always but he is a terror if he doesn’t get something he wants and also being very different with eating too. Also 19 months, hang in there , I’m going feral too haha

I feel for you both but also slightly glad I’m not the only one😂😂 my little boy has never suffered with the regression before, even with things like teething etc he hasn’t suffered with, he’s been so good since day one even as a newborn so I feel like this change is proper hitting me😂the amount of times I’ve just sat and cried, I’m also pregnant so deep down really struggling😭😂😂 but then he sits on me laughing and smiling and it makes it all worth it❤️

My Lb is the same. He just screams and cries if he doesn't get what he wants and Nappy changes are nightmares. I have to put on tv when we change sometimes 😕. Also, his appetite is lost. So, it could be teething as mine used to eat well but hardly eats anything now. Post 18th month completion there is a major developmental growth and sleep regression that can go on days or weeks.. probably you're kicked in late. Has your lb started speaking more fluently or more words or maybe expressing better/understanding has improved , started running.. etc etc? They will resist any sleep - nap or bedtime. Also, won't eat or demand or eat junk(or whatever they like) ex: my Lb loves those oaty bars.. and will non stop have them and not have any proper meals.

I’m always open for a chat or to just listen to you rant! Hormones can have us crying over burnt toast! You got this❤️. The only thing that’s keeping me going is it’s not gonna last forever (even tho it defo feels like it is gonna😂 and doesn’t make it easier at the time) They have us when they sit there all innocent as tho they haven’t terrorised the day lights out of us!😂 but like you said seeing them laugh and smile makes everything forgotten❤️❤️!
